What is the difference between a seminar and a workshop?
If you attend a seminar, expect to get a lot of good quality information that is relevant to your needs, expect to be able to ask questions and to get an opportunity to network with others during the coffee break.
If you attend a workshop, expect to be able to do something when you come out that you could not do when you went in. Expect to actually do things during the workshop (eg group work). Expect to meet other people who are likely to empathise with you and above all EXPECT to be treated with respect for the knowledge that you have and with understanding for the knowledge that you need to gain.
