Pam Cherrington – Care Specialist
Pam Cherrington gained her qualification as an SRN many years ago and soon moved into the Midwifery field. After years of clinical experience practicing midwifery she gained her MTD qualification and became a tutor of midwives.
She has held various positions inside and outside the National Health Service, spending some years working with the University of Liverpool heading up several research projects and several years as ward sister delivering the very best of care to women and their families.
It was a journey to the United Arab Emirates that gave her more responsibility as deputy matron of a women's hospital in Dubai that was owned by the Sheik and whilst she was there she also commissioned a new private hospital for the Sheik and his family.
Pam returned to the UK several years ago and back to lecturing midwives, she gained a degree in Psychology but then "retired" from her lecturing job with the NHS to pursue other avenues mostly connected with her music, she has her own web site under her maiden name of Pamela Ward and is using some of her "free" time to write songs as well as performing across the UK.
